Český Krumlov – Boršov nad Vltavou - 35 km, 6-8 hours

A quieter but more time-consuming trip, during which you will not miss out on the medieval beauty of Český Krumlov, as you will set off above the town from Na Rechlích. We will pick you up in the morning and take you to the starting point together with the boats. There are a total of 6 weirs on the route. The first weir is at Rechlich, and the second one awaits you after about 10 minutes. After the trip, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the historic center of Český Krumlov from a slightly different perspective. Right in the center of town, you will pass the Mrázkův mlýn weir below St. Vitus Church and the U jelení lávky weir, popular with tourists and boaters, located directly below the castle. You will slowly leave the town behind as you pass the brewery. About 15 minutes outside of town on the left side, we recommend the Tábor Pod Hvězdami campsite. Recharge your batteries and taste the specialties from the grill and smokehouse. Calmer waters will carry you to Zlatá Koruna in about 3 hours, in front of which is the weir of the same name. You can rest and refresh yourself at the campsite in Zlatá Koruna. You can also use the time to visit the Zlatá Koruna Monastery – it is definitely worth a visit. From Zlatá Koruna, the Vltava River will carry you through the beautiful nature of the Blanský Forest Protected Landscape Area. After another 3 hours of sailing, you will see one of the largest and best-preserved ruins in Europe, Dívčí Kámen Castle. Approximately one hour of sailing will then take you to the weir and refreshments at U Rybů, and nearby you will find the last weir on this route, Zátkův mlýn. It is the only one in the entire section that is not navigable and must be carried over.  After about a 10-minute drive, you will see the Poslední štace campsite on your left, where you will be expected and taken back with the boats.
