Pískárna – Český Krumlov - 15 km, 3 - 4 hours
We will pick you up at the designated time and place and take you to the Pískárna campsite. There are a total of 6 weirs on this section. Immediately after setting off, prepare to tackle 3 sharp bends. The river slows down before the paper mills in Větřní, where the Pečkovský mlýn weir is located. After passing this weir, after approximately 1 km of "lazy water," you will approach the Konopa weir, better known among paddlers as the "U Papouščí skály weir." You can refresh yourself at the Nové Spolí campsite, for example. The Na Rechlích weir is the imaginary gateway to the town, with another weir, U Liry, located not far behind it. After passing these weirs, you will be greeted by a breathtaking view of the historic center of Český Krumlov. From a slightly different perspective, you can admire the castle and the town, which have been listed as UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Sites for decades. In the center, there is the Mrázkův mlýn weir below St. Vitus Church and, directly below the castle, the U Jelení lávky weir, popular with tourists and canoeists. The river will then carry you out of the city around the brewery. After about 1 km, we will be waiting for you at the Tábor Pod Hvězdami campsite, where we will pick you up and take you back if you wish.
